Without knowing your dream,I am sure that millions all over the world dream the same. Simple probability would tell you that most of us won't achieve what we want in life.
Millions play cricket in this country. Even if they all are equally determined & equally Talented,most of them won't make it. First ODI was played in the year 1974, since,221 cricketers have played for India.
221 players in 44 years, on an average 5 players got debut every year.
Census 2011 will tell you that 60 Boys out of every 1000 will not get married ever, thanks to pathetic Sex-ratio.I am not counting those polygamy cases where 1 man is married to 2 or 3 women.
545 MPs and 4120 MLAs, believe me, they all dream of becoming PM one day. I am not counting daydreamers, & people who lose elections. Even if they all are equally motivated, talented, great policy makers, administrator & what not. Probability tells you that most of them would never become what they dream.
We sacrifice our happiness for something which is probably not possible. This sense of incompleteness, sense of non-achievement is the greatest fraud we have been pushed into in the last century.
Dreaming is not a bad thing, but expecting completion of every dream is foolishness.
