Lekin main Mutalmaan hun (25-Feb-2019)

Was watching this movie 1920 when heard song, "Vaada tujhse hai Wada", wasn't he Pandit Jasraj? I remained awestruck for 20 days or so, the song was in repeat mode.
Last week, another gem encountered me, this was from the movie "Razia Sultan", "Aayee Zanjeer ki Jhankaar", searched the playlist & found another song from the same singer "Tera Hizr Mera Naseeb", I was in similar Awestruck mode again. This guy was equally good, his voice was rather stronger, but the important difference was I didn't know this guy named "Kabban Mirza".He wasn't a trained singer, perhaps never sung a song again. If I did not know the name of both of the singers, I would have given Kabban 10 out of 10 & Pandit Jasraj 9.5 out of 10. Unfortunately, the world does not work that way. Prejudices rule our likes, If he is Pandit Jasraj, he is no doubt better. I never learned anything original about life from highly educated people(Except UG Krishnamoorthy). I learn that from kids of homeless people. 5-year-old street girl taking care of 2-year-old brother isn't this a common sight? Do we expect that maturity from our kids in a comfortable environment? Yesterday,I asked a 5-year-old street kid, "god lelun tujhe"? He answered "Lekin main Mutalmaan hun" Anupam S Shlok hashtagAnupamism
