#Ottoman ruled 3 great continents for almost 600 years, as late as 1922. Today you will not find even a single descendant from Ottoman dynasty. I was in Turkey once & I asked locals if they knew about any surviving Prince or Princess. They had no clue.

Time is the great leveler. We, unfortunately, can't perceive it because we spent an insignificant time on this planet. 100 years are almost nothing in the context of the changes happen on this planet.
Our ancestors were truly phenomenal. They realized that the time is an unperceivable factor for Human mind. That's why they called yesterday & tomorrow both, 'Kal'(कल).
Kal, because, Yesterday & tomorrow both are absolutely no different. Nothing is changing, we are reaching towards something we started from.
You did not exist yesterday, you'll not exist tomorrow. Whatever the time you spend here & whatever the changes you bring in this endless universe, all are insignificant & meaningless.
This universe does not need anything from you.
